Boiler Cover UK is free to use. We earn a commission from some of the providers listed when you click a link on our site and go on to buy a policy. We receive this commission from the provider or its affiliate network — you never pay more as a result, and the commission does not influence the order in which results are shown.
We compare a selected panel of boiler-cover providers, not every provider in the UK. Other deals may be available elsewhere. Some providers on our panel pay us a commission and some do not; where a provider is shown for completeness but we have no commercial link, you can still compare it — you simply buy direct on their site.
Results are ordered by the sort you choose — cheapest monthly price, best value, lowest excess or most comprehensive. Ranking is never based on how much commission we earn. Our "best value" score weighs price, excess, whether an annual service is included, call-out limits and how well a plan matches what you asked for.
"Boiler cover" covers two different things. Some plans are FCA-regulated insurance, underwritten by an authorised insurer, which come with FSCS protection and access to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Others are service or maintenance plans — a contract with the provider that is not FCA-regulated and does not carry FSCS or Ombudsman protection. We label each listing so you can tell them apart, and we never describe a service plan as "insurance".
Boiler Cover UK is an independent comparison website. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, we are not an insurer, and we are not an insurance intermediary or broker. We do not arrange, advise on or sell insurance, and we do not pass your details to providers. We publish information and comparison only; when you choose a plan you buy it directly on the provider's own regulated website. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation or regulated financial advice.
Prices shown are indicative and are checked periodically (last checked June 2026). Many boiler-cover prices are quote-based and vary by your boiler, postcode and excess, so we show some as "from £X". Always confirm the exact price, excess, cover level and protections on the provider's own website before buying.
